Located high on the Monte Argentario this villa commands majestic views over the mediterranean and the islands of Giglio, Elba, Giannutri and Monte Cristo. Surrounded by mediterranean bush which guarantees your privacy.

The villa is spectacularly located high on Monte Argentario, the stunning promontory on the southern tip of Tuscany. A steep and winding road brings to the villa allowing for an isolated position with plenty of privacy and breathtaking views over the sparkling blue Mediterranean and the Tuscan Archipelago. The villa has to the Cala Piccola Beach Club, a beautiful cove just five minutes from the villa. The club is completely equipped and offers a very good restaurant and bar. The club also provides a free shuttle service from the Via Panoramica to the cove and back. Free access to the club is available for four people and one car. A small fee is charged for extra guests. The villa is within two hours driving distance to Siena, Florence and Rome. There is a beautiful 18 hole golf course between Porto Santo Stefano and Orbetello whereas Saturnia's hot springs and the Maremma's myriad of hidden treasures are all within a drive from the villa.

Argentario and Porto Santo Stefano

The peninsula of Argentario is connected to the mainland by three strips of land one of which is man made and the other two are natural sand. The beautiful lagoon of Orbetello lies between them protecting an infinite variety of birds. There are two small towns on the peninsula, Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole. You reach The House in the Clouds about 7km along the Via Panoramica from the village of Porto Santo Stefano between Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano. The town provides every necessity to make your holiday a success: all kinds of shops, supermarkets, hairdressers, beauty salons, etc. Between Porto Ercole and there is a brand new Spa, an eighteen hole golf course and a Polo field. Should you wish to vary your swimming you can choose to go to the public beaches of the Feniglia or the Giannella, the two sandy strips that connect Argentario to the mainland.
